I started using pinterest about a month ago, and not really doing anything apart from pinning random pictures and that was about it. Mixture of ones from my own website and from other things I find online which I pin because I like.

Now I'll be honest and say my website on its own isn't a high-traffic site - probably 400-450 visitors a month, of which maybe 100-150 are targeted.

In the last 3 weeks, Pinterest has become my 5th biggest traffic source already, according to Google Analytics. Twitter, Facebook and Stumbleupon are above it. The top is one of my other websites which doesnt generate much traffic itself - so I think there must be some funky pinging thing going on between the 2 or something like that.

But anyway, without knowing what I'm doing, it has become my 4th biggest social traffic source at least. Might just be a bit about the recent hype its had and it might subside, but if nothing else it is starting to make link-building easy
